Ολλανδία: Κράτηση και κυνήγι προσφύγων και η υπόθεση των απεργών πείνας

Η Ολλανδία, κάποτε ένα λαμπρό παράδειγμα ανοχής, μετατρέπεται γρήγορα σε μια χώρα όπου τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα είναι μόνο μια αόριστη ανάμνηση από το παρελθόν.

Πρόσφυγες που αναζητούν ένα ασφαλές καταφύγιο καταλήγουν κλειδωμένοι επ 'αόριστον σε ένα καθεστώς φυλακής. Το κράτος κάνει την παροχή ανεξάρτητης ιατρικής φροντίδας όσο το δυνατόν δυσκολότερη.

Οι πολιτικές που εφαρμόζονται συνθλίβουν τα βασικά ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα και φαίνεται πως ένας πραγματικά μεγάλος αριθμός ψηφοφόρων – τροφοδοτούμενοι από τον κλασικό ισχυρισμό ότι κάθε πρόσφυγας είναι ένας εγκληματίας και ένα παράσιτο - υποστηρίζει την απάνθρωπη μεταχείριση που υποδεικνύει ότι το απαρτχάιντ εξακολουθεί να είναι βαθιά ριζωμένο και δεν έφυγε ποτέ.

Ο 17χρονος Rishi Chandrakasing, ο οποίος σκοτώθηκε το Σάββατο 24/11 απο σφαίρα αστυνομικού, δεν είχε καμία ελπίδα σύμφωνα με την αυτόπτη μάρτυρα Αννα. Ο Chandrakasing είχε σηκώσει τα χέρια του λίγο πριν τον πυροβολήσει ένας αστυνομικός με πολιτικά. Φίλοι του Rishi προετοιμάζουν μια διαδήλωση. Οι εισαγγελικές αρχές ανακοίνωσαν την Τετάρτη το βράδυ ότι η δήλωση μιας αυτόπτη μάρτυρα δεν ισχύει επι της ουσίας σε ένα σημείο, αλλά δεν θέλησαν να διευκρινίσουν ποιό είναι το σημείο αυτό.

Οι εισαγγελικές αρχές βασίζουν τις δηλώσεις τους στα πρωτά αποτελέσματα απο την έρευνα που έγινε. Μεταξύ άλλων μελετήθηκαν εικόνες από κάμερες ασφαλείας.

A 17y.o. youth shot dead by a policeman in the Netherlands

A 17y.o. youth was shot dead by a policeman in The Hague, Netherlands, on Saturday 24 November in the morning,  at the Holland Spoor Railway Station.

Police got to the Railway Station, after it was denounced that an armed man was around.
The young boy was at one of the platforms, when the policemen asked him to put hands on the air. The boy moved his hands to his wrist, and then a policeman shot him. The boy succumbed to his injuries later in hospital.

During the weekend, the State police took statements from witnesses. Prosecutors said they got pictures and that a post-mortem examination was conducted. They also reported that the young man did not carry a weapon.

A silent march took place on Sunday evening:150 people attended. It was organized by friends of the boy and ended up at the platform where the boy was shot.

It was the fifth time this year that someone was fatally hit by a policeman's bullet. Last year five fatal incidents involving police officers were reported.

Νεκρός 17χρονος από όπλο αστυνομικού στην Ολλανδία

Ένας 17χρονος νεαρός πυροβολήθηκε θάνασιμα από αστυνομικό στη Χάγη της Ολλανδίας το Σάββατο 24 Νοεμβρίου το πρωί, στο σταθμό Holland Spoor.

Η αστυνομία πήγε στο σταθμό, μετά από καταγγελία ότι εκεί κυκλοφορούσε άνδρας με όπλο.
Σε μία από τις αποβάθρες περπατούσε ο 17χρονος. Όταν του ζητήθηκε να σηκώσει τα χέρια ψηλά φέρεται να έκανε μια κίνηση προς τη μέση του, οπότε και τον πυροβόλησε ένας αστυνομικός. Η σφαίρα χτύπησε το νεαρό μάλλον στο σβέρκο. Ο νεαρός υπέκυψε στα τραυματά του αργότερα στο νοσοκομείο.

Το Σαβ/κο η κρατική αστυνομία πήρε καταθέσεις από μάρτυρες. Οι εισαγγελικές αρχές λένε ότι εξασφάλισαν εικόνες και ότι έγινε νεκροψία. Αναφέρουν επίσης πως ο νεαρός δεν έφερε όπλο.
Την Κυριακή το βράδυ έγινε σιωπηλή πορεία από 150 ατομά. Η πορεία είχε οργανωθεί από φίλους του νεαρού και κατέληξε στην αποβάθρα όπου πυροβολήθηκε ο νεαρός.

Ήταν η 5η φορά φέτος που κάποιος χτυπήθηκε θανάσιμα από σφαίρα αστυνομικού. Πέρσι υπήρξαν 5 θανατηφόρα περιστατικά με εμπλοκή αστυνομικών.

Βουλευτικές εκλογές σήμερα στην Ολλανδία

Στις κάλπες σήμερα προστρέχουν οι Ολλανδοί. Οι προβλέψεις θέλουν να δίνεται μάχη για την πρώτη θέση μεταξυ VVD (συντηρητικοί Φιλελεύθεροι) και PvdA (Σοσιαλδημοκράτες), οι οποίοι προηγούνται του Σοσιαλιστικού Κομματος που φαινεται πως θα ερθει τρίτο, λίγο μπροστά απο το ακροδεξιό PVV. 

Πιθανότατα, θα ακολουθήσουν οι Χριστιανοδημοκράτες (CDA) και οι προοδευτικοι φιλελεύθεροι (D66).. Τα λοιπά κόμματα (οικολόγοι, προτεστάντες) θα καταλάβουν μεχρι το πολυ 5 εδρες το καθενα στη βουλή, η οποία αποτελειται απο 150 εδρες. Αναμενεται να μπουν 10-11 κομματα συνολικα. 

Η συμπραξη για σχηματισμο κυβερνησης μεταξυ PvdA και VVD μοιαζει αναποφευκτη, με πιθανή ενισχυση απο ένα ή δύο άλλα κομματα Αυτά θα προσδιορίσουν και το αν το προφιλ τς κυβέρνησης θα ειναι πιο συντηρητικο/φιλελεύθερο ή πιο κοινωνικο/προοδευτικο Τα ευρωσκεπτιστικα κόμματα (Σοσιαλιστικο, PVV) σχεδον σιγουρα θα μείνουν εκτος κυβερνησης.

Pogrom against Pakistanis at Nikaia

New attacks by extreme-right wing groups against Pakistanis took place last Friday and Saturday night in Nikaia (Piraeus suburb). After the threats and the ultimatums that were distributed amongst Pakistani shop owners by groups of the extreme right –Golden Dawn –according to eyewitnesses- and after the anti-racism demonstration of last Thursday, the racist groups struck again.

“Around 10.30 on Friday evening 10 people on 5 motorbikes, attacked Pakistanis who were sitting in front of their house in 15, Iktinou Street. The Pakistanis were kicked, punched and beaten with clubs”, as the President of the Pakistani community, Javed Aslam, notes.

“Some of the attackers wore T-Shirts with the symbols of Golden Dawn”, he says. The migrants went into the yard of their house but the extreme right wingers forced their way in by breaking the door with hammers. Two migrants were beaten in the face and the third one in the legs. When the police arrived, they arrested 14 Pakistanis who had come to help –as mr Aslam states- the others.

The attacks continued on Saturday evening. “Around 23.00 three migrants returned home from the mosque when they were stopped on the street by a large group of motorbikes. They were beaten with brass knuckles. One of them has a broken nose”, says mr. Aslam.

The “Movement Against Racism and the Fascist Threat” denounces that the beaten Pakistanis had to wait all night on Friday at the Police Station of Nikaia in order to file a complaint, while 7 of the 14 migrants who were detained, were tried and sentenced to 12 months of imprisonment and a 2.000 € fine for entering the country illegally, with a three-year suspension.

The pre-electoral commitments that shape the “electoral polarization” in this June’s elections.

The shaping of the pre-electoral landscape concludes with the final pitch of the leaders of the two parties which theoretically and practically, have a claim to power on June 18. Under the circumstances, PASOK has to a large extent withdrawn from the battle for leadership and is reserving for itself –as expressed by the statements of its leader Evangelos Venizelos– a regulatory role. The same goes for the Democratic Left which has also stated its intention to participate in a coalition government.

The rupture between Samaras (leader of conservative New Democracy) and Tsipras (the leader of left wing SYRIZA) reached a climax with the presentation of their pre-electoral commitments on Thursday and Friday respectively, thus shaping a new polarization around the dilemmas which they put forward clearly: “Memorandum or Drachma” and “Memorandum or Syriza.”
